Paper Trail Blog Hop - April

I've joined the Paper Trail Blog Hop - and I am so excited to share some of my work and then guide you to see more beautiful creations from some great gals! You may have arrived here from Linda Taylor's Blog - The Paper Taylor or you may be starting here, and moving on - either way you're on the right track to enjoy our samples using the Victory Paper Packet (X7150B)! My first sample uses the Victory My Stickease Assortment (X7150C) and Hero Alphabet (E1022) for the title.
The next layout features second generation stamping with the trees and stubble brush with chcolate ink on the hiking boots from the stamp set A Journey (A1127). I also used the stubble brush with chocolate ink around the page edges. A few Durables Studs Squares (Z1705) accent this layout.
Another layout and a totally different look! I used Hooray Bouquet (D1491) stamp set for the flowers, which were fast and easy to do as these flowers and their centers are cut using the Cricut Art Philosophy Collection (Z1686). I made great leaves for the flowers by stamping the flowers in New England Ivy ink on olive cardstock and trimming with micro-tip scissors. The Mini-Medley Accents Collection in Honey (Z1488) are a perfect addition!
Here is a card with A Journey and the Durables Studs Squares
Lastly, I combined the April Stamp of the Month You Are... (S1204) with the Victory Paper Packet (X7150B) for another fun card. I did some tone-on-tone stamping with bamboo ink and cardstock using the diamond-shaped and lined background stamps from the set. White hemp (Z281) is a nice look against the outdoor denim B&T paper.
I'm sure you can't wait to see more with the Victory papers, so hop on over to Connie Myers-Kelly's Blog - Scraps & Stories See you next month!
